Such a fantastic experience for our family. Katie did an amazing job keeping our two little kids involved and having fun. The lighting was beautiful. So many sweet moments captured without feeling “posed”. I can’t wait to decorate my home with new, updated photos of our family!

Family Session
When your six year oldasks with excitement when the next "picture day" is, you know things went well. Katie was absolutely delightful to work with in capturing our family photos. She was patient and engaged with my kids who were easily distracted, wanting to throw rocks in the stream, and used her craft to capture their spirits. She gave great direction to help our family shine in the photos. Family pictures can be very stressful, however Katie made this experience such a joyful one. I 100% recommend Katie!!!

Fresh 48 & Newborn Session
She is so easy to work with! She makes you feel comfortable, is great with a newborn, and even got our dogs to sit still in a picture with our son. I can't recommend Katie enough!

Maternity & Newborn Session
Katie definitely has an eye for photography! She captured amazing shots for both my maternity and my son's newborn sessions. I couldn't wait to put them up for display! She's great with kids, and even made my husband who isn't too excited about taking photos comfortable!

Katie has an amazing eye. She took some beautiful photos of our son, Brandon, during his senior session. Katie made Brandon feel immediately at ease. She was warm, friendly and fun, she made a nervous kid feel relaxed and comfortable.
Katie had several ideas for where to shoot and ideas for poses. She gave Brandon simple directionsto follow for each shot. She asked for our ideas and was happy to use Brandon's props.
We had an extended session in two different locations, Katie took her time to set up beautiful shots according to her artistic vision and our wishes. We never felt rushed. It was a very easy going, relaxed session and our son actually enjoyed himself which comes through in the photos.
We are very pleased with Katie's work and highly recommend her.

Katie was amazing! I’ve only seen one picture and it was worth the entire experience! She was so patient with my not so cooperative toddler, she even brought him a little consolation prize and it was right up his alley! Her attention to detail is superb, And her professionalism is top notch! I would 10 /10 recommend Tulips in August To any of my friends and family looking for family photos!
